Bio:

MSP veteran, built Western Digitech to $6.5M with 20% net income before selling to CompassMSP in 2019. Led CompassMSP growth (3x) from 2020 to early 2022 before leaving to start Samsom Street Partners with partner Dave Davenport. In addition to working with MSPs to mature and grow their businesses, Josh consults with private equity, channel companies, and invests in the MSP space.

The Offer:

A six week consulting engagement with the winning MSP.  Josh and his team will provide a business assessment to determine the readiness of the MSP to access on onboard  the offers provided by sponsors, then create a plan with the winning MSP to add in their "Dream Team" offers.

Qualifiers:

We are offering our AssessIT service.  In this case all work will be virtual UNLESS the MSP agrees to cover all travel expenses, in which case we will actually come onsite.

 

AssessIT

SSP will conduct a series of meetings to assess your current business model, along with your one, three, and five year objectives. We will review your current metrics and compare these with our knowledge of industry best-in-class MSPs. We will identify areas that are out of alignment that have the highest value in remediation. The topics for our meeting will include but are not limited to: 

  • Financial review
  • Review of current contracts
  • Operational review
  • Organization and leadership review
  • Packaging and pricing review
  • Company vision, goals and objectives

SS will be on-site for 2 days for in-person meetings with leadership and ownership.  Client agrees to make every effort to provide access to key individuals and information so that SS may complete its assessment process.  Further, there are expected to be two additional virtual meetings to clarify and investigate topics that may result from the initial meeting.

  • SS will provide a detailed report of our findings.  This written report will also be presented in a virtual meeting with the ownership and if desired, the leadership team at Client.  We expect to deliver the report within 4 weeks of the initial meeting.

The Value: 

Fee (waived for $1m Makeover):

  • Client agrees to pay SS $20,000 plus actual travel and related expenses.
    • Expenses will be provided in detailed report format including all receipts. 
  • A deposit of $10,000 for services will be expected within 15 days of the signing of this agreement.
