[00:00:27] [SPEAKER_01]: invest in OpenAI. The investment would be part of a new OpenAI fundraising round

[00:00:32] [SPEAKER_01]: valuing the startup above $100 billion. That's according to people familiar with

[00:00:37] [SPEAKER_01]: the situation. We reported yesterday that the funding round is being led by venture

[00:00:42] [SPEAKER_01]: capital firm Thrive Capital. Microsoft is also expected to participate. It

[00:00:47] [SPEAKER_01]: couldn't be learned how much Apple and Nvidia or Microsoft will invest into OpenAI

[00:00:52] [SPEAKER_01]: this round. News Corp. owner of The Wall Street Journal has a content licensing

[00:00:56] [SPEAKER_01]: partnership with OpenAI. The Federal Aviation Administration has paused launches of

[00:01:02] [SPEAKER_01]: SpaceX's mainstay rocket after a failed landing. A SpaceX Falcon 9 booster tipped

[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_01]: over after landing on a ship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean according to the

[00:01:13] [SPEAKER_01]: company. The incident marked a rare failed landing of SpaceX's reusable

[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_01]: rocket. Elon Musk's space company now needs to complete an investigation into

[00:01:22] [SPEAKER_01]: what happened and secure permission from the FAA to restart flights. The rocket is

[00:01:27] [SPEAKER_01]: slated for use in a mission set to include the first commercial astronaut

[00:01:30] [SPEAKER_01]: spacewalk. Representatives for that mission and SpaceX didn't respond to

[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_01]: requests for comment. And Chinese tech giant Huawei's net profit climbed 18

[00:01:41] [SPEAKER_01]: percent in the first half of the year to the equivalent of $7.7 billion.

[00:01:46] [SPEAKER_01]: That's according to figures released by the privately held company. Huawei says

[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_01]: its consumer and intelligent automotive solutions businesses grew rapidly during

[00:01:55] [SPEAKER_01]: that time. Huawei was the number two smartphone seller in China during the

[00:02:00] [SPEAKER_01]: second quarter according to market research firm International Data Corp

[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_01]: and it's grown its electric vehicle business by collaborating with
