[00:00:38] [SPEAKER_00]: OpenAI has raised $6.6 billion in a new funding round that nearly doubled the start-ups valuation.

[00:00:46] [SPEAKER_00]: The fundraising process was complex, involving negotiations with tech giants and large private

[00:00:53] [SPEAKER_00]: investors. It came as OpenAI experienced internal turmoil, including the departure of its chief

[00:00:59] [SPEAKER_00]: technology officer. The start-up behind-chat GPT is now valued at $157 billion, putting it on par with

[00:01:08] [SPEAKER_00]: the market cap of publicly traded companies like Goldman Sachs and Uber. Investors in the new

[00:01:13] [SPEAKER_00]: round will have the right to withdraw their money if OpenAI doesn't complete a planned

[00:01:19] [SPEAKER_00]: conversion from its current nonprofit structure to a for-profit one. Venture capital firm Thrive

[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Capital led the funding round. New investors include SoftBank and Nvidia. Tesla reported its

[00:01:33] [SPEAKER_00]: first rise in quarterly deliveries this year, reversing earlier declines that have raised

[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_00]: concerns on Wall Street about the electric vehicle maker's ability to grow. Tesla delivered

[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_00]: nearly 463,000 vehicles during the third quarter. That was roughly in line with analysts' expectations

[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_00]: and a 6.4% increase over the same period last year when factory upgrades affected its sales.

[00:01:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Deliveries for the first nine months are still trailing last year's performance. That puts

[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_00]: pressure on Tesla to deliver an even higher number of vehicles in the fourth quarter in order

[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_00]: to beat the company's results in 2023. And Nvidia and Accenture are joining forces to encourage

[00:02:15] [SPEAKER_00]: businesses to adopt artificial intelligence tools. IT consulting company Accenture will

[00:02:21] [SPEAKER_00]: train around 30,000 employees on Nvidia's AI tools and create a new Nvidia Business

[00:02:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Division. An early focus for the partnership is on using generative AI agents to automate
