[00:00:20] I'm Zoe Thomas for The Wall Street Journal. Elon Musk appeared to confirm in an ex-post today that his artificial intelligence company xAI has ended talks to expand an existing arrangement with Oracle to rent NVIDIA chips. Musk said xAI is building a supercomputer with 100,000 NVIDIA graphics processing units.

[00:00:43] These are the chips behind training and operating generative AI programs. According to Musk, xAI was contracting 24,000 NVIDIA chips from Oracle. Two electric vehicle makers, Lucid Group and Fisker, are recalling thousands of recently manufactured vehicles over issues that could cause a loss of power.

[00:01:03] Lucid said more than 5,200 vehicles could potentially be impacted by its recall. The issue has caused vehicles to lose power while driving in at least 10 instances, according to a report from regulators. The company transmitted an over-the-air update to vehicles to correct the issue last month.

[00:01:20] Owners who haven't updated their software will be notified to do so in August. Meanwhile, Fisker said more than 7,500 vehicles could be affected. Impacted owners will have to get their vehicle's cabin electric water pumps replaced at no cost.

[00:01:35] Fisker isn't aware of any accidents or injuries reported in connection with the recall, according to a report from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Representatives for Lucid and Fisker didn't immediately respond to requests for comment. And French software maker Dassault Systems cut its full-year revenue guidance.

[00:01:55] The company said second-quarter revenue missed its forecast due to customer caution given the geopolitical environment. It said that revenue is 30 million euros lower than expected due to transaction delays. The CEO said despite delays in orders, all deals are still expected to be booked in future quarters.
