In this episode, Dave Sobel discusses the thriving MSP software market, Apple's open source multimodal LLM called Ferret, and OpenAI's preparedness team to monitor and test AI technology for safety. He also highlights TechIsle's top 10 SMB and mid-market predictions for 2024, including the surge of "anything as a service" and increased PC expenditures for AI. Additionally, he discusses the New York Times' lawsuit against OpenAI and Microsoft for using copyrighted articles without permission, and Microsoft's launch of CoPilot for iOS and iPadOS.
